So I just posted a rather bitter retort to Luke's latest post, but really, I feel it's justified. I mean who looks for a reason to ditch their friends? Oh well, I'm not sober maybe I'll feel different about it tomorrow. Except for the part where probably not. One of these days I'll have to get over being dropped like a bad playing habit and expected to ignore it, but it I doubt that will ever happen while the situation in general is ignored. Oh well, I got to drink with my lady, my coworkers and eventually my roommates so I had a good evening. I was supposed to meet up with Dan, but his more rusty than trusty auto has sucked away his night so I'm going to call him and let him know I'm going to bed. Hope any of you who actually follow this are well. Yes Luke, if that includes you, it includes you. Say goodnight Drew. Goodnight Drew.

I'm burnt. It's been a long day and it's only 1! I'm due to head back to hell in about a minute so I gotta keep this short and sweet. Luke is correct in that John won the Grumble Cake. So as I understand it that means next time John is home we'll have to hit up the Kreme.
Also, John no time to properly respond, but as soon as I get back from across the sea you'd best believe the twins'll be throwing up they'll be so dizzy from spinning on the ol' cube all the time.
I heard a rumor that Luke was in town, but I must now assume that to have been false as I've not heard peep from his direction.
Once again, breaks over…

… so very tired.
Why oh why why did I take my job. Oh, I know the benefits it affords are wonderful, but I suck at it, I knew I was going to suck at it, but I took it anyway. I need a change of venue in a big way and I guess it will be mid-late April before I know one way or the other on my best chance for that even being available. I can only hold on so long, but I'll at least wait for that news before I really think about leaving… Oooh leaving… Somebody check my head cause it's completely gone askew.
Oh, the title above relates to the little 2-3 year old asian kid who ran up and said “ha” to me while his Dad chased over and helped him wave hello back when I waved and said “hello”. Very calming, very good.
I found out today how the boss de-stresses, he juggles. It sounds dumb, but it does seem to work. He and I were actually getting along this morning until I fucked up what I thought was a beautiful handling of an execs request. Oh well, fuck it. “You can't fire me cause I quit, throw me in the fire so I won't throw a fit.” OK, I'm not usually one of those brain-dead fuckers who has to quote to make a serious (or not so serious) point, but that little Nirvarna tidbit felt good to pound out.
Well, breaks over, back on my head.
Free KrispyKreme to the respondent who knows what the above line is referring to.

I'm siting in ye ol' Mall of America using Apple's free wireless to hit up the ol journal because whatever ports my live journal uses have been closed at work. Sneaky sneaky huh. Sure I could use the web form, but I've actually been saving all of these locally as well and it would kind of bum me out to stop that. Having said that I'll probably stop doing that soon and just use the web form instead of handy dandy Xjournal.
So other than that not much to say.
I played some really fun games on Saturday Night including the excellent Kill Doctor Lucky from Cheap Ass games. I think this one'll have to be hit up when all the fellahs get back into town.
OK I just had some weird acting woman hit me up to be part of telemarketing scam for a company called Excel Communications. It was fucking weird.
And that burned all my remaining blog time. 'ceptin' I want to note that in a few short hours last night I cleaned the ever-loving-shit out of my kitchen and bedroom and it felt damn good. Tonight I'm planning on taking it to the rest of the house. Weeehaaa!

Spin you f-ing hamster spin. It's been a while since my last post and man I haven't been ditching the journal for lack of doins to do or mention.
Work's been busy like a mofo lately. Which seems to come in cycles and right now I'm on to to much end of it before I saunter on back to bored stupid.
I'm being sent out to OKC and DTW (that's Oklahoma City and Detroit for those of you not up on your airport codes) at the end of this month to swap in some new workstations and that should be fun minus the part where I get on a plane three times in the course of two days. Oh well…
Flying must not bother me as much as I thought though because I'm going to do it again the 26th. I'm going to use my fight benefits to try and fly standby out to DC and visit Pete and Kylie. We're also going to hay a small BCB reunion of sorts. Well, I guess Pete wants us to play as Duos Tacos, but whatever we'll be doing a duet in the middle of a benefit concert he's organizing for DC Cares. Ooh, speaking of which, I need to update the memorial site with a link to his new job. Also, I have a link for Shawn again. Can anybody say kmetz.us. Oh yes I think we can…
Actually Amber and I have been talking about emulating said Metzses, but I think things there need to simmer a bit yet. No need to rush off after the third ring just now. Although man we considered it pretty seriously recently.
Church managed to blow out their whole computer system finally and I'm doing a little freebee consulting on the replacements, but more just giving my two cents on the plan a real consulting firm proposed. We'll see how that goes for em soon.
I've finally started writing music again and depending on when my internship at Integral-Studio starts may start recording some ideas/demos what-have-you.
Meanwhile I'm off at lunchtime to attempt to renew my passport which I believe may be somewheres in Canada…
