Mood should read thankful and tired, but I'll take t-ful for the main one.
Ladies and gentlemen it's the home stretch. The ever wonderful U of M has offered me a job and I have accepted said job. I start Monday June 27 and cannot wait! I'll be working in the department known as ADCS. Anyone really wants more details on the job reply and I'll reply, but the essential parts are it's a decent paying tech support job with good benefits, reasonable hours and a whopping six months of training time for yours truly. Very exciting. Finally man will know his biznass!
Meanwhile I have to somehow keep it together for the remainder of my last two weeks across the river. Some of this shit is terminally boring and I recently gave up caffeine so I have no clue what's going on anymore. Well that's about the gist of what's going on with me lately. Anyone care to fill in what's up with them.
I saw Shawn this weekend, and John I'm pulling for you on the job front, but you may want to call Volt or ProStaff if you haven't heard from the folks that brought us New Coke. Dan: are you still kicking over in the land of Ax wielding blondes? Luke: are ye in town and do ye wish to hang out. I'm sure John would love to see the moon one last time before he gets expired on the morrow.
S'all for now!

From the RSS feed:
As rumored, Steve Jobs announced today at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference that the Macintosh will make a transition to Intel processors. Jobs…

Could this be good?
Cheaper Macs that run faster and ship with regularity?
Sure!
Am I bummed about no Cell based workstations from Apple?
If I can afford the new P4 based ones that will ship next year, probably not.

Using the old dial-up here in Red Wing takes me back… OK not really, but sort of… This is about the only time I hear the ol' dialin chimes any more and that's a little different.
Anyhow, I'm about to watch my future Mrs. participate in her best friends wedding down at the church where soon we'll be having our own nuptials. Makes a man start thinking. Boy, now we have our place (I'll post pictures of it soon). We're going to have our wedding soon, and if the lord is feeling particularly merciful, I'll have new reason why man has to work. Kinda makes me think the only constant around here is change, but a few weeks from now that may all have settled and we'll see. In any event I hope everyone who reads this is doing well and I'll try and check in with you folks in person soon. On that note. Dan, man is still waiting to learn Skype info. How about getting on that. John, I'll be out the house all weekend, but I'll try and get ahold of you this week. Luke, when are you in town again? Shawn, your kid is cute see you at the wedding. Megan, same. I think that's everyone who reads this so I'm out for now…

But with some luck man will be working for St. T., U of M or St. Kate's soon. Man is excited to say the least.
I've spoken to Shawn () about his new baby already, but a note to the world that it's tops news. Especially since the little gal now has a fighting chance of looking more like her mother (zing!).
Well… we're all trying to keep together a little propertah, and Amber I managed to get closed on our new place this morning. Hopefully we can figure out how to pay for it.

Meanwhile invitations are almost done and out the door. If you haven't gotten yours by early next week (and you know me), I've lost all means of contacting you and you should contact me ASAP.
