Charismatic Dog

Digg has officially gone off the deep end. I’ve put up with a lot of realtively sane people in my life saying insane things about why its good to keep Bush in office, or we should be in Iraq, or whatever they need to tell themselves to get through the night midway into the second term of this ungodly mess, but I’m tired of reading pure idiocy spewed by my fellow citizens who seem to only understand what the radio and idiot blogosphere tell them to understand with no outside context whatsoever. I will read a well written piece by a conservative writer and give it its due, but I’m fed up with people who just because they’re rich enough to own a computer, think their lives and their country is on track and that we should thank our President. I personally thank God every night that our country still somehow soldiers on in spite of him! In any event, that’s one less RSS feed in my reader.

The sheer fantasticalness of TinyMCE has inspired me to run with Apple’s coy suggestion of a WWDC Session mentioned on The Atomic Typewriter and using some examples provide by hoboes.com (Site seems seriously weird to me btw. Consider yourself warned.) I’ve got a glimmer of an idea of how to integrate a WYSIWYG editor into my blogging app that I whipped up using AppleScript Sudio. One of these days I’ll turn the source of this thing loose. I’m a little worried though as I used a lot of examples to get myself rolling and youthful exuberance won out over careful docs of whom I owe credit for what. I’ll have to work that one out one of these days. Meanwhile, I’m going to bed.

Man knows he can’t have this house. This does not stop man from wanting it very badly.
