A mashup of evacuation info and maps et al found via Oracle Apps Lab. The ability to quickly deliver something like this minus red tape and BS is indeed hugely, incredibly, game-changingly non-trivial.
Weddings
Man do I love weddings! I’m in an Indiana hotel room as I write this and probably should get moving on packing and what have you, but I just wanted to check in and say that I love weddings. Outdoors, indoors, traditional, wacky, whatever. Weddings are great.
Side note: this wedding would be non-traditional outdoors at a nature preserve complete with frolicking deer.
I have to write as well that family weddings are the best because you see all the folks you never get to in the family and this is always a good thing — even when you would think it’s not.
